Distilled is in a process of expansion and we are in the position to hire a new developer, to join the Web Development team. Distilled offers services in SEO, PPC, Web Design and Development and Reputation Management to some of the biggest global brands, and are known in the industry as experts in what we do. We are a young vibrant company and have just recently opened an office in the US. We are now looking for someone with a strong background in development who understands what language to use when. Ideally you will have a couple of years of commercial experience, and are fluent in speaking geek!

This is a middleweight position that requires the right candidate to have the following skills: PHP, MySQL, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, Zend Framework would be beneficial, JavaScript (jQuery experience beneficial), Linux setup and maintenance, apache administration, version control (SVN), process management, finding and solving bottlenecks.

An understanding of OOP programming and MVC implementation is essential for this position.

You should have experience in constructing websites based on design layouts, extending internal platforms (CMS e-commerce) and building more complex functionality for client websites.

You will be someone who loves to learn about new technologies and ideas, and is constantly looking for new ways to improve processes.

This role will be based full time in our office in central London. You will be given dual monitors, beer o’clock on a Friday and a whole host of perks to make working at Distilled as enjoyable as possible.

The salary range for this position is: £27,000 to £32,000.
