Mat Stace, Developer

Mat brings flat vowels to Distilled, being the token Northern Bloke, originally hailing from the frozen wilds of County Durham.

Mat joined the development team at Distilled in October 2008, and revels in the "geek" tag, doing nothing to dispel the stereotypes by having a selection of "humorous" t-shirts, and being found digging around in server configuration files at 2am.

A keen photographer, appreciator of fine ales, and a gadget obsessive, Mat has lived in Whitechapel for over two years, which now allows him to claim he went to school with the Krays, despite not setting foot inside the M25 until the early nineties.
